The Characteristics of a virtuous Buddhist Monk

In Buddhism, the monks are esteemed as the Buddha's sons. So surely we, the devotees would like to offer them as much as we can afford to get merits. But today, unfortunately most of the time, we are offering to those monks who have lower moral conducts, who abide by the monastic codes carelessly, thereby our offering to them is not satisfying us. We must identify carefully which monk follows the monastic codes strictly, which one doesn't follow them. This is our primary key to identify an honest monk and a dishonest monk.
